Lydia grew up exploring the outdoors around her family home in Auburn, Alabama. Her appreciation for the natural world is reflected in her designs, which combine watercolor and calligraphy. Lydia obtained a BFA in Studio Art with a concentration in painting from Auburn University, and her artwork includes different forms of painting, drawing, and multimedia art. She is inspired by the outdoors, vintage postcards, botanical illustrations, and her husband, Koy, whom she met in an introductory design class in college. Lydia lives in Birmingham, Alabama, and spends her free time painting, sewing, cooking, antiquing, and connecting with loved ones.
