Born and raised a Georgia girl, Laura now happily resides in Birmingham, Alabama, with her husband, Mark, and their white lab, Lilly. After graduating from Auburn University with a degree in Graphic Design, Laura worked in magazines until 2014 when she launched her independent design studio, Marked. Her work has been featured in Southern Living, Weddings Unveiled Magazine, Magnolia Rouge, and The Huffington Post. Aside from creating designs focused on nature and inspiring quotes, Laura also puts her artistic talents to work as an event curator and floral designer.
